Dysprosium chromate, Dy2(CrO4)3
Dysprosium chromate, Dy2(CrO4)3.10H2O, obtained by double decomposition, is a greenish-yellow, microcrystalline powder. At 150° it loses 3.5H2O, and above that temperature decomposition occurs. A saturated solution of the decahydrate at 25° contains 10 grams of the salt per litre.
