Dysprosium Ionization Energy
The Dysprosium Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Dysprosium.
Dy -> Dy+ + e- This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Dysprosium is: DyN+ -> Dy(N+1)+ + e- Ionization Energy
Dy -> Dy1+ = 571.9 kJ/mol = 136.82 Kcal/mol
Dy1+ -> Dy2+ = 1126 kJ/mol = 269.38 Kcal/mol Dy2+ -> Dy3+ = 2200 kJ/mol = 526.32 Kcal/mol Dy3+ -> Dy4+ = 4001 kJ/mol = 957.18 Kcal/mol |
